MMP Trustee Robert Winder will be participating in the V&A’s roundtable. As the V&A prepares to open Europe 1600-1815 – a major new suite of galleries exploring 215 years of the continent’s turbulent history – the V&A Director Martin Roth will host a public roundtable discussion on the stresses facing contemporary Europe.
Join us to hear leading museum directors, economists and writers who will ask: can museums in their exploration of history through objects give us optimism, identity and a sense of shared cultural heritage where politics and economics fail?
