Join Deptford X for an exciting, family-friendly collage workshop at the Migration Museum celebrating what it means to live in Lewisham borough and be part of a diverse community.

This collage workshop is perfect for families with children aged 3–12. Little ones will have the chance to create a beautiful collage, taking inspiration from the Deptford X 2022 Festival parade.

There will be lots of materials to use for making, as well as space to play and rest.

This workshop accompanies Celebrating Community, an exhibition, on display outside the entrance to the Migration Museum, displaying documentation and ephemera from the 2022 Deptford X parade. Following on from the parade’s title referencing the African proverb ‘the earth is a beehive, we all enter by the same door’, the exhibition focuses on what it means to join together in collective events and celebrate diverse communities.
