100 Stories of Migration
We were delighted to work in partnership with the University of Leicester School of Museum Studies on 100 Stories of Migration over 2014–2015. Students and staff at the School of Museum Studies re-curated our 100 Images of Migration touring exhibition and gave the show a digital makeover, and the fantastic exhibition was on show at the School of Museum Studies until 13th Feb 2015.

The images were curated thematically to reflect different experiences of migration. Images are supported by digital stations where visitors can watch a range of commissioned films exploring migration. Through image recognition technology supplied by Blippar, visitors can also interact with a selection of images through Blippar.
An accompanying mini exhibition has also been popping up around Leicester, at the train station fat BBC Radio Leicester and around the University campus. 100 Stories of Migration on BBC Radio Leicester
BBC Radio Leicester is building an audio archive of 100 stories from people who came to live in Leicester or Leicestershire from another country. Read the BBC news article to find out more about the 100 Images-inspired project and visit the BBC Radio Leicester website to listen to the fascinating tales that migrants have already contributed to the archive.
Douglas Beoku Betts, who shared his migration story with BBC Radio Leicester, said photos of his great-grandfather and his children helped him learn about his roots.
